What AION 2 Presets collects, why, where it is stored and how to access or delete your data.

Who we are
AION 2 Presets is an independent fan website for AION 2 character presets. It is not affiliated with NCSOFT. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and what you can do about it. You can reach us at any time through the contact form.
What you can do without an account
Browsing, searching, copying slider values, using the Slider Sheet and saving presets work without an account. In that case:
- Saved presets are kept in your own browser (local storage). They never reach our servers unless you later sign in, at which point they are merged into your account.
- Slider Sheet drafts are kept in your browser. A Slider Sheet share link stores the sheet itself in the link, after the
#sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to servers, so we never receive it. Anyone you give the link to can read its title and values; notes are not included. - My Nine Looks cards are drawn in your browser. The image and any title you type are not uploaded. A collection link contains only the IDs of the public presets you picked and the frame you chose. You may also choose up to nine images from your device. These images are processed only in the current page memory: they are not uploaded to or stored on our servers, and are not saved as an account collection or browser draft. Reloading or leaving the page requires selecting them again. Local images are excluded from collection links; downloading or sharing an exported card sends it only to the destination you choose.
Information we collect
Account. Accounts are created by signing in with Google. We receive and store the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us, plus session records that keep you signed in. We never see your Google password. If email sign-in is enabled in future, we would store your email and a hashed password instead.
Your contributions. Presets you submit (title, description, screenshots, slider values, Style Shop links, source and credit details), your public creator profile, presets you save while signed in and Slider Sheets you save to your account. Screenshots are stored in our image storage when you upload them and can be opened by anyone who has the image link, even before the preset is reviewed, so do not upload anything you would not want to be public.
Contact requests. What you write in the contact form and, if you provide it, your email address.
Anonymous sharing events. When you use a share or copy button, we record the outcome (for example "copied"), a fixed label for the button, the public preset or page identifier, a random event ID and the date. These records do not contain your account, IP address, the full link, slider values, titles or images.
Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, browser and time) for security and reliability. To prevent abuse we briefly hold IP addresses in memory for rate limiting; they are not written to our database.
Cookies and similar storage
- Essential: your sign-in session cookie and your theme preference.
- Local storage: saved presets, Slider Sheet drafts and your chosen Style Shop region, as described above.
- Analytics and advertising (only if enabled): the site may use Google Analytics, Plausible or Google AdSense. When they are enabled, those providers may set their own cookies and receive page views and the limited sharing events described above. Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
How we use information
- To run the site: accounts, submissions, moderation, saves and Slider Sheets.
- To credit creators and show public creator profiles.
- To respond to contact, takedown and privacy requests.
- To keep the site secure and understand, in aggregate, which pages and features are used.
We do not sell personal information.
What is public
Published presets, their screenshots, values, credits and your creator profile (display name, bio, region and links) are public. Your email address, saved lists, private Slider Sheets and pending or rejected submissions are not.
Sharing with others
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, database, image storage, email delivery and, if enabled, analytics or advertising), when required by law, or to protect the site and its users.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Submissions stay published until you or we remove them. Contact requests are kept as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up. Anonymous sharing events are kept for aggregate reporting.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, including your whole account, through the contact form by choosing "My data or account". We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on the account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date at the top.
