AION 2 Steam charts
Check how many people are playing through Steam, then put the number in context. AION 2 also runs through PURPLE, so this is one part of the population—not a total for the whole game.

Historical curve and player peaks
SteamDB tracks the released game’s history, including its daily and all-time peaks. Its chart is a separate source: the Valve counter above supplies a current reading, not historical records.
Loading the chart connects your browser to SteamDB. If it is blocked or unavailable, open the original chart. Its attribution remains visible.
Before calling a dip a trend
Compare several days at similar times, and check official maintenance notices. A scheduled shutdown, a region’s quiet hours and a reporting delay can all change a single reading. Steam does not tell you how many people are on your particular server or how long your next party queue will take.

Questions about AION 2 player counts
How many people are playing AION 2 on Steam now?
The counter on this page reads Valve’s GetNumberOfCurrentPlayers API for the released game, App ID 3393110. Each successful reading has a UTC timestamp and is cached for up to five minutes. A failed reading is shown as unavailable or as a clearly labelled last successful reading, never as zero.
Does the Steam player count include PURPLE?
No. Valve counts players connected through Steam for this app. NC offers AION 2 through Steam and PURPLE, so Steam concurrency is not the total population across launchers or regions.
Where are the 24-hour and all-time peaks?
Use the SteamDB chart below or its original charts page. Valve’s current-player API does not supply historical peaks, and this site does not invent them or merge Playtest peaks into the released game.
Why can the player count suddenly fall?
Maintenance, regional time differences and Steam reporting delays can affect a snapshot. Check official notices, then compare several days at similar times. A sharp fall is not, by itself, evidence of a lasting population decline.
Is AION 2 Playtest the same chart?
No. The released game uses App ID 3393110; the separate Playtest is 4972320. Valve’s Playtest system uses a child application. Test-session counts should not be presented as current released-game players.
Sources and method
Editorial facts checked October 7, 2026. The counter’s own timestamp identifies each live reading. No player accounts, estimates of PURPLE activity or invented history are collected.
