AION 2 Appearance Changes: A Checklist Before You Confirm

Updated 4 min read

Short answer

Creating a character is free, but editing an existing character uses an appearance change, and loading a Style Shop style was documented at one Appearance Change ticket or 600 Quna at the Korean launch. One change covers one editing session, so plan the whole face first, back up your current values and read the in-game confirmation before you accept.

Before opening an appearance change

  • Save your current look as screenshots and written values wherever the client exposes them.
  • Check the exact voucher name, eligibility and any expiry displayed on your account.
  • Verify the character and service you intend to edit before selecting a style.

Review the result

  • Compare front and three-quarter views in consistent lighting.
  • Inspect hair colour, eyes, skin, makeup and body proportions separately.
  • Read the final confirmation: which resource is consumed and what changes will be applied? Cancel if either is unclear.

Keep the new revision

After a successful change, update your backup and reference images together. Preserve the old revision separately if you may want to return to it. Do not assume a screenshot or a Style Shop link can restore every setting automatically.

FAQ

Is changing your appearance free in AION 2?

Character creation is free. Editing an existing character uses an appearance change, and the confirmation screen in your client shows what it costs.

Can I undo an appearance change?

Not automatically. Keep screenshots and written values of your current face before you edit, so you can rebuild it if needed.
